Strut bar...

I got my strut bar last week but was unable to install it..well i found some time and used the facilities in the Automotive workshop in my University..

While i was there i had the opportunity to see wat is avaible. there..and man they have reallly good engines..and cars as well..just waitin for students like me to come along and work on them ahhaha..

First they have a Mitsubishi V6 2.0 from an E39a 1995 Galant.. and they have one from Toyota..and none other than the famous 4AGEz..Levin Twincam Turbocharged engine.
These are the 2 Half-cut engine.

They also have an Alfa-Rome0 146..with a BOXER engine..yes a BOXER...this is the first time i have seen one..i know that they are famous in Subaru's..but the alfa's engine was my first sight..

they also have a Toyota corolla 4AFE ..i think 98 model...

And the car that blew my breath away...A BMW 3.25i model 96..with An INLINE Straight-Six Engine...wow..this was great..i have never seen such an enormous engine in my life..i will post some pics later..

The G-VRC meeting..

well the meeting was for about 2 hours...The new commitee was established..
The President keeps his seat as he wins convincigly in the election...

..after..a long pause...

well i am back again...after some silence..well..we had a reunion of all the ex-mazians...in 1utama...man it was great to see all of them again...

Also..same day i had to attend a G-VRC meeting..all the VR4s gathered..around 15 ..but the actual total members are over 50 ..but most were unable to come..
Jeff,wayne and prith also followed me to the meetin...Car junkies...find refuge...ahha...
well since the meeting was long these 3 left for utama for the reunion..while i stayed...

Well anyways i reached 1 utama, where parking is as scarce as a proper broadband service here..ahah....crazy analogy..
went to play a bit of snooker...actually i only saw them playing la..since i was late...

Mag was comin back after about a year....and told us she will meet us at MPH .
..jeff and i stayed back to reserve seats in Chilli..
while the rest of the stromtroppers went to get her...ahha..well first of all there were 2 MPH's in utama...first we assumed it was the new one..the troopers went there and found out from the mother base that she was dropped of at the old wing..ok la..these guyz went there..and still no signn....then came back again.
.while jeff and i were sitting outside chili discussing...automotive/topgear/engineering topics....ahaha...we have nuthin better to discuss la..

well atlast she was found...the 7 year old girl who was lost in MPH...hahaha...what next..??..well the moment we were all waitin for..dinner and loads of talking, laughing....lame sarcastic remarks...remembering the good old days...damn these are precious moments...that i cherish...

well i think this is the longest blog post i have ever written...dun worry..now i let the pics do the talking...

..as i said it was a long day..

well after that..at night i went for my first meeting with the G-VRC malaysia club..these guyz are great..and they have the best kept galants...man..they are awesome...have a look at these..sorry it was late so the pics are blurred due to low light conditions...another reason to get an SLR ..ahhahaha...

Saturday!! Damn what a long day...

Well the first thing to be done on saturday was getting the exhaust system changed. Went in the morning to meet aaron at the workshop where i would replace my current exhaust with his.

the car was jacked up..actually for no reason..we needed the hydraulic car lift...well this pic only shows the size of the stock muffler...




This pic shows my exhaust..the one which is dismantled and has 2 catalytic converters...well they are of no use...spoils performance, acceleration and fuel efficency as well...the one on with the blue silencer and "Spiral" bullet replace the catalytic converters...this increases air flow..hence performance and fuel efficency increase...




the muffler is fitted in!!...




the rest of the exhuast is in as well...half a day gone....

Engine colour theme: REd

well i decided since my spark plug wires are red...why not make it the theme of the engine bay by painting/spraying certain elements in the bay..so that it has a striking look...ahha..i seriously have nuthin better to do ....
since i cleaned it ..and did some touch ups as well..water container for the wiper was dirty and the coolant container was dirty as well..the brake oil cover was also cleaned...it is gleaming white...maybe gonna be red soon....

the red spray has done its job on the rod that holds the bonnet...but the job on the radiator cap was not good...i am gonna hve to do it by hand...

spring cleaning!

This was the engine bay before...it was actually just after we got the car....



i started cleaning the sparkplug wire..and then saw they were red in colour...cool..

hard 4 hours of work...well..i will still have to put some finishing touches to it...

Raya Money put to use

well..EID MUBARAK to ALL and Happy DIWALI as well..known in malaysia as DEEPARAYA..

since...they are both over..i have time now to write this blog..and also to work on the car..
well i got a new pair of rear lights...and a spoiler..as the old one had a broken brake light.

.wow...all that bandwidth...but cannot be put to proper use like torrents...

current project

well this is the current project i am working on...its a Mitsubishi Galant 2.0 4G63 SoHC. model 1991.
a great car with a torquey engine..maybe i will put a DOHC turbo in future..not now la..with petrol goin through the roof..

a couple of photos i have taken..only thing i have bought is the Black VR4 Hood with Air-intakes...

when the holidays start...going to work on its handling..i need to get sports suspension for this..mayne adjustable Hi/lo....which i am saving for..as it is gonna cost a bomb...
other stuff include stablizer bar which i can get..also in need of a paint touch up...

The time has come....

Well..now i have something that i can post my thoughts and pics on...i would provide cool links...and a lot of car related stuff...provide updates on what happening with the Mazian's...
well its basic now..i will work on it in my holiday..!!!
