On Saturday i went to meet Wayne..hadnt seen him in ages...he says that his friends say he looks "Korean"...hmm..watching too many korean soap operas??...well we met at Coffee Bean..for Coffee..atleast i was into the coffee...while the sophisticated one was sipping his Earl-Grey Tea...too close to a shrink..haha...
Well we talked for around 2 hours..about life and its many complicated issues..well everything from psychology, to nerves, to dendrites...axons..in the neuron...to college...and this thing called LIFE...ahahha...well i had a good time...it was good to Listen to a friend...and at the same time..offer some useless crap of my own...havent done much none of that this sem though..

Well it was saturday, and that night was the Cricket World Cup Finals...the Mighty Invincible Australia Vs. The lions..Sri Lanka..

A bit old..but the day before (Friday)...i had a chance to see Afaq's FYP (Final year Project)...some thing to do with the heavy tail problem...on a Cylindrical Fuselage...


the damn thing is big...He made the Fuselage by hand..using Styrofoam..and strengthing using Carbon Fibre..and then finishing using some kinda tissue paper..so that the surface is smooth..to reduce drag...


The top view, the Wings were made by a previous batch..there are 3 types..and he will use all three during the Test Flight in July.

As usual the engine was the centre of attraction for me...

Darkside Exposed...

Like the title says, I think i captured my darkside...

Long Exposures...always wanted to play with it in a very dark room..with a single point source of light....when the camera is set to a 10 second exposure, that means it recieves light for a duration of 10 seconds..so in a completely (almost) dark room....we can use a torch/flashlight..and source of light...and create streaks..they can give great results..
what i wanted to achieve was that i would have atleast 4 faces in the same exposure...or 3....or show the same person in different places in the same photo...it can be done..but one has to use a flash light...i was using the stupid flashlight in the phone..which takes about 8 seconds to switch off or on...but i was able to get a few desirable results..i can always improve...

Well..i even did 2 photos..which can be put in the "Self-Portrait" category..ahah...now i have really lost it...i am not good at doing normal Portraits..which involve other people...usually i find it very rude to stick a lens down a person's throat....well what i mean..i sometimes feel that its invading thier privacy somehow.....i have seen loads of portraits...and the expressions and emotions on the faces are amazing...i do sometimes wonder how people capture these faces...i am guessing either they have a damn good lens..or they ask for thier permission...

well enough of that..as you can see..i was kinda bored..so the photos will tell the story...

...to the old school scans project?"....hmm i was wondering the same thing..its an unfinished project..where i was scanning Old School Photos..and posting them up in Chronological order...well so much for that...it seems the last post was on the concert...which was done in Form2...but that post was last year..i think november...gotta check the archives..

Well i am thinking of shifting all that to new blog which will be dedicated just for that...it will have school photographs..from the beginning..i will try to source some from school as well...First things first...a name for that blog...[Suggestions Needed]
Once a name will be selected..i think i will share the password with Pman..(prith) and ubaid...so that they can add more spice to the background stories on each photo....

So guyz start to use those brain cells and come up with a name..and email me..or just put them in the comments (the shoutout box on the left)...

its over..

Well 2 weeks are over, and thats the end of the Break...back to school tomorro (Monday)...beginning of the summer semester..this one is actually only 7 weeks...half of the longer semesters...

Well in the 2 weeks..other than sleep/eat/watch tv/surfing internet...there were other things done as well...

As u all know thru the posts..i got a pair of rear adjustable suspension..though..they need to be fine tuned..i will do it during the coming week...

Secondly....i have finshed a book by Larry winget.called.Shut Up, Stop Whining, & Get A Life...well this one was a quite..different..i have to say...i think its a good read for anyone...its not ur typical "motivational/inspirational" book..that will comfort you..its more of a confronting type of a book..though i disagreed with a few of his ideas...overall it was a great book...

Finished another book atlast...Lexus:the relentless pursuit for perfection...this book shows..how people set target..and they not only want to achieve that target..but do one better..and over-achieve it...that is how Lexus..became the No.1 luxury brand in the US...no one could believe that a japanese company that just started..could startle its german and american competitors...
well it showed how people who are fanatic about what they do...their aim: how to mass-produce perfection...
..hmm..what else...other than that..i have been snapping photos...walking few kilometeres daily...anything to keep my mind, body and soul busy..and active...

before i forget...it was my moms.and my bros birthday...
So a very Happy Birthday to my माताशिरी या माँ (my mom..)..and my bro...yes..consequently both share the same day...

New "Kids" on the "Blog"

Well there are 2 new kids on the "blog"...Firstly i think it is Ben...i dunno if u guyz remember him...but how can u forget him...Usually Mr.Francis (our Maths teacher..come on...u cant forget him)..will call "Mr. Benedict!!...Get to the board..."...Benedict in his usual fashion will get up...towards the end of form3 he usually had a runny nose..so tissue in one hand to the board with the marker...

Sorry Ben, but this was the only photo i could find...ahhahaha

hmm..lets just say after that he used to get the usual treatment from Mr. Francis.."Break dancing... Mr. Ben!!"..ahahhaah...

Well He has got a Blog up..called ~Fresh!...i do hope so..as he has started with ways to get Diarrhea...ok ok..to avoid Diarrhea..nothing to do with Fresh..or Freshness..is it..??..well we will keep checking in...

Well i have a lot of photos..and sometimes i just dont get the chance to share them..so here it goes...

The heavens came over...this does happen during rain..it feels like a hill-station..as the clouds are low..and the weather is cool...though i am not happy with the photo..it just doesnt show the actual scene...it doesnt show what i saw...well as a "amatuer/beginner camera user..."..my aim is to try to show i what felt..and what my eyes see..what my emotions are..the photos are supposed to show all that..though u only use ur eyes..its supposed to evoke and tingle all 5 senses...hahaha..*talking a lot of crap..i know...*

How do we get there?

Yes..we arrive at the sports complex 6.45 a.m..we are serious about our cricket...

So as "planned", the bus is supposed to leave at 7 am SHARP. But if the Bus ain't there...there wont be any departing...once we do realise around 7.30..
We made numerous calls..hoping somebody would answer our call..but as usual..we "Had to take Matters into our own hands"...sounds familiar?

We decided..that we had to leave as..the match is scheduled at 9 am...so we took 3 cars..a guy named rilmi's Citroen C3..rent a kancil..and mine...
and we had to drive to KTJ-Kolej Tunku Jaafar..somewhere after semenyih..which is after Kajang..(Round trip= 200km!!)


the genius who was leading the pack ..went off course...and we actually entered from Seremban and had to make our way back...you will NOT be pleased to know that the Genius was NOT me ...

Well once we got there..quite late..we thought that they wouldnt let us play..but thank god..after being nearly an hour late..we had a game..which was reduced from 30 to 25 overs..
Anyways..i didnt play..i knew i wouldnt be playing the day before..as the top 11 was announced the day before..but if one is in a team..one must travel with the squad...

We got them all tensed up..since we were getting closer..but asking rate was around 14 in the last 3 overs...

=Let me write a bit in hindi. I worked on the car today, changed the suspension..ahhaha..

I can play with this hindi transliteration shit the whole day...i hope they make one for urdu as well...

Anyways lets get back to what i have done today...since i got the suspension yesterday..i had to put it in today..went to Uni...and started around 10.30 i think...time was wasted as i had to find the guy with the keys to the store where the tools are kept...

Well i got started...this is easier than removing the front Absorbers..as there is no drive at the back..its a dead axle...removal wasnt a problem..next was adjusting the Adjustable Absorbers...one has to get them at the same height...so armed with a ruler..i had to adjust it down to the millimeter...ahahha...

This is my first experience with these...so it took time to get familiar...but anyways it was done...

I think i was done by around 1.30 p.m..just in time..as friday prayers were about to start....i had to change..lets just say..i looked like i came out of burning a burning building...or was swiming in chracoal...

ok..i had to use 2 jacks..the adjustables were a lot shorter than the Stock...

so one literally has to lift the axle with one hand..and try to bolt it down with the other...

not possible...

Solution: So just jack up the dead axle...

Didnt take too many pics..as my hands were black...and kinda bleeding at one point..well it wasnt that bad...

Anyway..i had to wait around an hour..as some jerk/assh0!3.. let me be an indian.. कुतता कमीना ...ahh..it feels good to swear in your mothertounge...well some idiot parked outside the automotive workshop...

once one of the cars were removed..i took mine out..and went for a spin..immediately i felt the back was taut...and felt that the body was moving as one...but there is a downside...its extremely bouncy..at the moment its at the Softest setting...there are 4 of them..just turn the knob and the hardness changes...

will play with that..and results shall vary...hopefully..

i shall submit a full report on that...ahahha..
