Problems..

*I have been thinking..about why this blog exists..and was wondering..who was i writing all this for??...well one of the reasons..is that this a way of communicating to all my close friends...who are now quite distant geographically...so guyz..how about putting some comments in the bar on the left...anythin will do...it feels good that some of u atleast are reading this crap..ahha..*

Well i ran into problems yesterday...a leaking Clutch pump left me on the side of the road..with the clutch stuck to the bottom of the floor..like peanut butter stick to the roof of your mouth..ahaha...

walked to a nearby workshop..talked with my broken malay..and english..(english not broken)...well after around 2 hours it was fixed..though the job required only 30 minutes..these assholes think i am a fool..first they forget a few tools..their aim:" How about a tow-truck"...i told him he better fix it here..something that small only need that part to be replaced..

one doesnt even need a bloody jack for this...anyways..he fixed it...and the bill wasnt that bad..
watever..i later inspected it..and came home safely...wasted time...i know it gives me problems..but it brings a smile to my face..when i fix..and when i know it works..and when it works well..when i drive it ..i literally feel the damn thing..as if its part of me...well its fun driving it..though it needs work...

Finally i found a pair of rear supension today, they are KYB Hi/Lo Soft/hard adjustables...hopefully thse will do..heard from the owner that they are quite hard...well i am goin to uni tomorro to try it...

ohh..ya..i got a mail from Raihan...yes Raihan...he acutally knows how to use the internet for emails..and not just surfing crap...Well he is doing well alhamdullilah...and actually plays Sports..yes..the world has not ended...he plays rugby...well raihan if there was one thing that you would fit in...it would be this "bull-charging" game of rugby.

Went to the mechanic..there were a few engines undergoing overhaul...therefore were naked...

Updates:

1.There's an Formula One video on Picasa..its the last item in that folder..

2. For the first time, i went for a test-drive on my own....well since i went to Honda Service centre today..had my camera...i thought Why not?...i have time to kill...so took the New Honda CRV for a spin...

Well they have replaced the Twin cam with a single cam engine..Still an IVTec..but single cam...and its supposed to shed of weight...and save fuel..well..thats the aim...and loose some grunt..

The body as well has lost overall weight...though i have to say it looks kinda bigger on the outside now...and even has loads of legroom on the back...

I felt that the ride was good and firm..it didnt feel like a handful...but i have to say..the interior plastic quality was not good..i wont pay 150K..and expect that kinda plastic doors...

Thought on the plus side..the Dashboard was better and the steering was the same as on the Civic...

First Day off

Exams are over...atlast..that did last quite some time...

2 weeks off, and i started the first day with atleast something to do...
Firstly..went to my sis's school..they had some sports day..so took some photos there..man..that whole atmosphere..of kids having fun...jumping around..senior students helping them to set-up the whole damn thing...it brought my memories back..ahh..god..i get too emotional on things...

One more day

I know i should be studying, but i dont know what has happened...

my mind seems saturated..and its a choking feeling..well to let some out i decided to blog a few minutes...

Firstly..tomoro is the last one..Structural Dynamics..as today was Management...

What a day...as i approached sepang..memories..came back...it was a van full of people...drinks..noise...and carlos sticking his ferrari flag high in the air...that was quite a day...

On that day that road was packed...unlike the testing session i went to...
Well this time i had the opportunity to enter the Mall area, on a race day..i dont have the cash to access this place...so since testing is free..and i dont expect a lot of people to be there..it would a good day to see the cars and to take a load of pics...

The moment i park the car...i hear it..i can feel it...the sounds rush to my ears..and my heart jumps a beat..and my brain recognizes that thunderous sound of a V8 at 19,ooo revs....Ohh, what sound...it better than any orchestra put together...

You see its not just a sound..its a feeling..its emotion...its passion...its love...i know love can make u blind..but this one makes u deaf...ahhaha..once u get close to them...they rip ur ear drums apart...
Though i dont see the cars as i get in...but i can hear them shifting through the gears..braking..backfiring...there was a huge smile on my face..i couldnt wait to see them...its nearly a kilometre to walk in..and actually reach the spectators area...

The mall area incorporates the 2 long straights on the circuit..one of them is along the pitlane...there a hair pin bend connecting the two..and the Tower spectator are proved to be the photographer nest...one could take great pics..

Rapid Fire..

Thats how i would describe my last few days, 4 different exams..with hardly a 24 hour gap...No time to think..only study..only revise..one needs to forget what he learnt yesterday and then turn over a new page for a new topic...

First exam was ok..it was Intro to auto..which didnt require much..second was Ethics..i thought it would require a lot of things..as i did read a lot on that topic...but a 2 and a half hour was over in a mere 45 minutes...
Next on the hitlist was Manufacturing Processes..Ohh god..this one i literally had to read the whole topic..as i never got what was going on in the scheduled night classes...but i weathered the storm...as i had around 30 hours gap...
The last of the 4 exams was today..and i was literally scared about this one..Mechanics of Material...its not a difficult topic..its just i hadnt touched it at all..and all i had was from

8 pm..tothe next morning...

Yes i know i should have prepared a week before..i did...but things dont go to plan...shit happens...

Well after this ordeal...my next paper is 5th April...kinda too far...

What else...well India has kicked itself out of the Cricket world cup...bunch of asses..they Lost to BANGLADESH..and then when they needed to win ..they lost to SriLanka...
The only match i watched was the one against Bangladesh..hoping for an indian domination...what happened was the total opposite..and humilation is not a word to describe my emotions after the damn match...
I was watching in the Uni from around 930pm to 5.30 am..what a waste...

Things to do...

I know finals are knocking on my door, and i am getting ready to open that door....
well i have a few days before the first one starts...and then i have a long break between 28th april and 5th april...
i believe education is just one aspect of what we are therefore i want to do things not related to engineering, i want to expand my horizon...

First of all, i am planning to join a program...just to see whats going on...

The last date of submission of the forms is 1st april..so i have to get this finished...

I have taken up a "job"..to write articles for the Online website..Zerotohundred.com..though its still probationary...i have to prove my worthiness through my work..i dont expect anything from it except experience..i just want to improve my writing skills..and since we have to mostly write about cars..or car related news..i am looking forward to it...though i will start seriously only after my exams...

Secondly, more to do with Photography...this year Sepang is also a Testing circuit...and the Formula one teams are testing on 27-29 March..a week before the actual race...i am planning to go and take photos...as the testing sessions are free to watch..and u get to see them from the Grandstand area...
Armed with a camera...thats all i wanna do on maybe the 28th march...as most probably i will not be goin for the actual race even though it falls after my exams are over...there are things in life when u need friends to go with you, and Formula One is one of them...

Another Photo Op...is gonna be the 1st of April..the Galant VR4 club is organizing one...so will attend that...

hmm..what else...well i should get back to studying Mechanics of material...

Finals...

Last friday was the last scheduled class of this semester....and 2 years of my engineering degree are over...and from next sem onwards..i will be know as a 3rd year student...damn..time flies...no i think it travels at warp speed...

well..i think i said the same thing at the end of last sem...

Finals schedule is as usual screwed up..

24th 2.30 pm--Intro to automotive engineering...ok this one is easy..its just talking about car parts...

25th 9 a.m--Ethics...

26th 2.30 pm-Manufacturing Process

27th 9 am--Mechanics of materials

5th april 9am--Principles and Practices of Management

6 april 9am--Structural Dynamics

This month had 2 birthdays...both of which i was involved for the first time...
..first it was Kiyama's...i have known her for nearly 8-10 years...but this was the first time i actually was there..yes i did my bit by apologizing first...
.i think i had sent bday wishes through email before that...but since now we are in the same uni..we threw her a bday bash...
We went to some place called Nayle's Place...hmm..i dont think thats spelt right...from the outside it looked like a small rest...but when u step inside..its like a jungle...and huge...quite a nice environment...and our table was on top of a tree...ya..a tree house...
